액티브 스포츠웨어(active sports-wear)가 정식 명칭이며, 보통 「운동복」
이라고 불려집니다. 우리가 일반적으로 입는 트레이닝 웨어(일명 츄리닝),
골프 웨어, 피트니스 웨어, 짐복 등이 대표적 액티브웨어입니다.

액티브 스포츠웨어는 폴리, 나일론, 폴리스판 등 기능성 소재로 만들어 지므로 화학섬유에 대한 충분한 이해와 소재의 특성을 미리 파악하고 있어야 합니다. 패션 아이템과 달리 인체에 밀착되어 몸의 굴곡이 표현되는 옷이기 때문에 전문적인 3D 패턴 작업으로 완벽한 착용감을 만들어 냅니다.

To develop a fabric that meets the functionality of each product, you must identify and understand the characteristics of the best materials available.
Unlike fashion items where silhouette and look are more important, activewear is worn more snugly and, emphasizes the movement of the body. To enhance a comfortable tactile sensation, a seam needs to be as flat as possible so it does not irritate the skin or stick to the body. Using a flat lock machine can achieve this effect.

국동은 다품종 소량생산을 통해 시장의 변화와 바이어들의 니즈에 발빠르게 대응하고 있습니다. 또한 2017년 인도네시아 스마랑 공장에 15개 생산라인을 추가로 구축하고 2019년 바땅 지역에 신공장 증설계획 등 생산능력을 확충하고 있습니다.
Kukdong has an extraordinary ability to adapt to market changes and buyers' needs with a small, multi-category production. Every year we receive new inquiries about activewear production. In order to respond quickly to these customers, Kukdong is expanding production capacity by establishing 15 production lines at the Semarang plant in Indonesia and is constructing a new plant in the Batang area. In Semarang, due to relatively low labor costs, we are able to provide cost competitive products.

바이어와의 원활하고 빠른 커뮤니케이션을 위해 자사 해외 오피스를 지리적으로 인접한 곳에 배치, 바이어의 요구사항과 니즈(Needs)에 보다 빠르게 대응하고 있습니다. 영업팀의 현지화를 통해 바이어와 긴밀히 협력하여 샘플의 현지 생산하는 비중을 늘리고 있고, 원부자재의 현지 Sourcing으로 생산원가를 절감하고 있습니다.
To better serve our buyers, Kukdong has several overseas offices in geographically adjacent locations. This makes it more convenient to conduct sales and offer consultations in the local area, and we can react more quickly to buyer requirements and needs. The PT. Kukdong International, located on the outskirts of Jakarta, is working closely with its local buyers' offices and is increasing the share of locally produced samples. In addition, we have reduced production costs by sourcing raw materials and trims locally, and our sewing plant in Semarang works closely with our other overseas offices and factories from planning to shipping.
